We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

Shipping was fast. Delivered on wood pallet. Installation took 2 days, primarily because of location of the unit inside and outside. Line set length was 46 feet, did not need to add extra 410a. For communication/power I used 14/4 mini split cable sold at hvac supply stores. Unit runs very quiet (inside and out) in Cooling mode, while hearing,the compressor ramps up and you can hear it a little. I have used Modine free standing gas fired heaters for some 28 years in Greenhouse application. They say nothing last for 20 years, yet I have 2 of 18 that have lasted that long. Stainless burners are Ideal, a little pricey for me, but the new aluminum/steal burners are superior to the old galvanized
